Harry James Potter

There are only two seasons. Summer and Quidditch.

Gryffindor through and through. Quidditch Captain and Seeker. My best friends are Ron and Hermione.

Ask me anything

OOC: Guys, I…

I really wanted to pretend I’d be coming back. But I’m not sure I ever will. I just don’t think I’ll ever have the time to RP ever again, as much as I love HP and Drarry. ;_____; Give me a few days to think.

Drarry’s Adorable (and likely to be dysfunctional) Hogsmeade Date Part 2

PART 1 HERE

Harry rolled his eyes. “Yes, yes, I know,” he sighed, “chocolate for the chocoholic.”

He grinned cheekily and glanced around. Others were slowly starting to file into the Great Hall. It was getting later in the morning, and other students would be getting up so they could utilize as much time as possible at Hogsmeade. He wondered whether Draco would stay at the Gryffindor table in the presence of other students. He raised a questioning eyebrow in the blonde’s direction. Harry could care less either way; he already a strange and mixed reputation, despite being the Boy Who Lived. Draco, however, was the one whom he thought had the better image to keep up. It was the Slytherin’s move from here.

Drarry, Finally Going on that Hogsmeade Date (Yes, we’re still alive)

Harry awoke from a stressful slumber, slowly trying to pull himself into reality. He was groggy, and irritated at the fact that he seemed unable to sleep well most of the time. However, as he became more aware of his surroundings, his mood lifted. He remembered that not only was it a Saturday, but a day for which a Hogsmeade trip had been scheduled. To him, that meant only one important thing: his first “official date” with Draco. A small smile graced his lips, and he arose from his bed, ready to start his day, now that he had something to look forward too.

He hurried to the bathroom and quickly showered. He toweled his hair haphazardly, not bothering to comb it, as per usual. He brushed his teeth, then re-located his glasses. He paused, about to pick his clothes with his usual carelessness, but decided to pick something a bit better than usual. For Draco. He told himself. He dug out one of his better-fitting t-shirts, and an emerald green one at that, along with one of his newer pairs of jeans - one of the few pairs that actually fit properly.

He went down for some quick breakfast, glad that he had been up before Ron, Hermione, and the others. He was hoping he could avoid them so they wouldn’t question him about the Hogsmeade trip. His relationship with Draco wasn’t exactly know yet; most of the school was still under the impression they were enemies. He hadn’t stopped to think how strange the other students would think if they saw them together at Hogsmeade.

However, as he dug into his breakfast, he decided he didn’t really care any more.

Draco sighed, another night where sleep was his old friend for the past few days. He remembered the date but at this rate, he didn’t feel like he was in a physical, or emotional state to even leave the dormitories. He sat solemnly in his bed, where he assumed that harry was getting ready for his date with him today. He knew he would have to get up, eventually. It’s not a question. He didn’t certainly want to stand Harry up on his date with Draco. It would be beyond him to do that to Harry.

He got up from the bed and went to the bathroom. He had to do a double-take at his reflection at the mirror because he couldn’t believe it himself. He was horribly pale; paler than yesterday night where he had another nightmare and he found himself on the bathroom floor when one of his roommates kicked him rather harshly to wake him up. He had bags under his eyes but worser than the typical insominac. His eyes were bloodshot, and his hair was tousled. How can he look like this on his first date with Harry? It simply cannot do. He took a quick shower, and applied many glamour charms to cover everything off. It was effective, but Draco felt uncomfortable hiding everything. He had to deal with it, for the sake of many questions being asked.

He also didn;t bother with the clothes; Harry would think he still looked the best even if he wore the most atrocious clothes out there, so he settled for Muggle clothes, that were hidden in his trunk for several reasons. They were either dark-coloured, none of them having a stitch of red in them. He knew Harry loved the colour red, but he hated it, and he would rather not wear red, even if that was the only colour he would wear one day. A simple shirt and jeans would work, he thought as he put them on, along with Muggle sneakers, and left the common room.

It was pretty early, but at this rate, he would get used to it since he’s not out with his relationship with Harry, as of yet. He went to the Great Hall, where Harry was already there. He was eating breakfast, and Draco wasn’t in the mood for breakfast. Since there was practically no one in the hall this morning, he went to the Gryffindor table, awkwardly sitting in front of Harry. “Good morning,” he put on a fake smile.

Harry perked up as he found Draco settling next to him, and smiled brightly. “Hello.” He responded, and, since there was hardly a soul in the Hall at the time morning and none of them were paying attention, gave the blond a gentle kiss on the cheek.

As he pulled back, his expression faltered slightly. The other seemed…off, somehow, as though something weren’t quite right. He quickly regained composure though, not wanting Draco to see his worry. Now was not the time for any sort of falling out. Besides, it was early, and as far as he knew the Slytherin wasn’t a morning person, so he figured he could just be tired, waiting to fully wake up.

“Is there anywhere you want to go today?” He asked carefully. “Besides Honeydukes, I mean.”

Draco shrugged. He totally was out of it today and really didn’t care where he went today. As long as he’s having fun with Harry today. But he was in need of sleep, and as much as Draco fought it, it probably wasn’t working. “I’m not sure. Where should we go today?” he asked.

Harry chuckled. “I wasn’t sure, that’s why I asked you.” He took another bite of breakfast. “Well, I know I’ll never step foot in Madam Puddifoot’s again.” He shivered, remembering his past experience there. “I thought about The Three Broomsticks, but it’s usually pretty crowded, but I wouldn’t want to go to The Hog’s Head either, and I’m sure you wouldn’t, considering how filthy it is.” He paused. “We could find a more secluded corner in The Three Broomsticks.” He offered. “Oh, and despite it possibly being a betrayal to Fred and George, I might stop in Zonko’s. Only because I obviously can’t go to Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes, since it’s in Diagon Alley…” He trailed off.

“Anyway,” he shook his head, “it doesn’t really matter, as long as we’re together, and content.” It sounded cliche, but it was true; Harry wasn’t exactly difficult to please, which was why he had initially left it up to Draco.

OOC: Oh also if any one else is on and wants to RP

Let me know. c:

Bear in mind I am multi-tasking though (mainly drawing and stuff) so I will be mildly distracted.

OOC: I am NOT leaving the RP, nor have I given up on it.

And since the other co-leader, Gabbi/Draco hasn’t mentioned it to me, I’m guessing she hasn’t either.

Just want to clear rumors before they have the potential to start.

We’re just really busy right now guys; the beginning of the year has hit us both hard and we’re still trying to figure out a way to manage things.

Gabbi/Draco is a high school senior so she’s having a bunch of college-prep work and choices being laid on her right away. I’m a college junior, so it’s just crazy right now because everyone is trying to get on a start for portfolios for internships, which means really pushing even our first assignments, as well as going back and fixing up old pieces.

We’re both having a hard time right now figuring out how to deal with these schedules; hopefully things will be more settled in a couple weeks, and we’ll be on during weekends. =]

So don’t worry! The RP is not being compromised or disbanded. Even if Gabbi and I are scarce you can all carry on as normal. We’re trying our best to try to find out how to fit this into our schedules, and it’s taking some time, so we apologize for our absence. We don’t want to quit at all, at least I don’t, because this RP is fun for me, and helps me when I’m really stressed out, and in these times I DEFINITELY don’t want to get rid of something that makes me happy. =]

The beginning of the year is always hardest, but it’ll all fall into place soon and I’ll figure out an RP schedule for me. =]

OOC: Okay guys, listen up

Just want to make an announcement based on something I saw.

A lot of people are going to be scarce for a bit, as we try to rebalance our schedules. We’ve all gone back to school, and some of us are going to have a more difficult time.

I feel guilty about being so scarce lately, but please remember I’m a junior in college. That comes first right now, and the beginning of the year is always crazy. I’m STILL moving stuff in that I keep forgetting from my house to my dorm.

Other RPers are in the same or similar situations.

THE RP IS NOT DYING OR BEING DISBANDED.

Everyone is just very busy right now, and as a consequence many of us have either no time to RP, or are too exhausted and have writer’s block.

So please, bear with some of us for a bit. =] We’re not leaving.

Well, at least, I, as your Harry and your co-leader, am not leaving. c:

I just need some time to settle back in to school, as does Gabbi (Draco + the other co-leader) and some of the other members, like Kath (Ron), Ellon (Hermione), and others. Plus, Danie is in the hospital right now. :c

Just remember, we can’t ALL be on ALL the time. There will be lulls and periods of slowness that may last days. It was like this in the last HPRP we ran, and it’s like this in every other RP in existence.

OOC: Guys I’ll probably still be scarce the rest of the week

I know I’ve been scarce the past few days and it will probably continue till the end of the week. Settling into my classes, settling into the fact that I switched dorm buildings, all while dealing with still being sick, etc.

Hopefully soon I will find a way to balance everything. Or mostly I just want to stop being sick, because that’s mainly what’s making everything suck right now.

Blaise and Harry Part 3.:)

theblackprinceofslytherin:

Part 2 Here.:)

“I think you misunderstood me.” Blaise returned Potter’s glare. He didn’t like the Gryffindor. “I don’t think you’re that stupid to not realise what the Dark Lord is capable of. He’s a madman. Its easier to expect the worst from him. And I’m not a bloody idiot to not even know what you’ve been through since first year.”

“The harm I’m talking about is not only about the physical dangers that he could encounter being with you but the emotional ones as well.” Blaise looked away from him and stared at the waters. Contrary to popular belief, the pompous Slytherin cared for other people as well. He was vain, sure. He was selfish, yes. He was also a Slytherin. He was supposed to be evil and everything dark in this world, but not everyone in Slytherin are like that. There were some who were, yes but there are also good people in Slytherin. “I’m saying that if you hurt him or he even gets hurt by even a little bit, I will do more than maim you. And this warning stretches beyond the war if your relationship survives that.” Blaise told him. He could have just said, be careful with his heart but that wasn’t Blaise.

“I know.” Harry said quietly, because really, he didn’t know how else to phrase it. He knew, he just did, that Draco was emotionally unstable. Anyone who’d lived his life would be. He was always walking a fine line with Draco, always on the edge, never knowing wether he’d fall to his death or remain safely on the ground.

“We’re very alike, me and Draco, more than people think, that’s why…” He made a vague gesture with his hand.

That’s why we’re together. He wanted to say. That’s why we work, in a twisted way. That’s why we understand each other. That’s why we don’t ask about the past, we wait to talk. That’s why we had. That’s why we don’t want any one else involved. Because everyone else just ruins it.

But he wasn’t very good with words, so he didn’t know how to say it. Besides, it was too much sentiment, and he doubted Zabini cared much for sentiment.
